This is one of the most common questions I get, “when is the best time to post!?”

The truth is there isn’t a magical time for posting, but there is a way to see when your followers are most active, which is honestly better in my opinion! 

This information is super valuable because it gives you a guideline for when you should be posting each day, aka we all have our own individual times when it’s optimal for us to post! 

Every industry and account is different! Your audience is unique, and your timing should be too!

Now for what you came here for, below is a step-by-step guide on how to find when your followers are most active: Keep in mind you need to have a business account to be able to view these insights! 

It’s important when reviewing your peak times to choose a time that fits into your daily schedule and is sustainable! 

The hope is that you will post at that same time each day (or each time you post)!

So, find the average peak time on each day and stick with it! Also, keep in mind the times Instagram show are displayed in PST, so if you are in a different timezone, take that into account! 

For example, every time I post it’s 11:00 a.m. MST based on my insights that is when I have the most followers active, so I aim to post around that time every time I post. 

This has worked great for me! What it does is create consistency and reliability for your audience and the pesky algorithm.
