Maybe what you need right now isn’t to hustle and make up for lost time.
Maybe right now you need to rest and recover.
To prepare yourself for the year to come while reflecting on the year that
has passed.
Maybe you don’t need to start a new thing maybe you need to just be.
Be proud of yourself. Be present. Be okay with not having it all together. Be thankful. Be curious. Be careful. Be intentional. Be yourself. Maybe being is enough right now.
I don’t ever want to be this space to be one that promotes or feeds into toxic working culture.
You deserve to rest and reflect before jumping into the next thing, the next year, the next offer.
Actually, that’s a need if you want sustainability and healthy balance, right!?
I am guilty of the go-go-go, guilty of not taking breaks, guilty for feeling guilty for not doing enough.
I had a long season in the past year where I was truly exhausted and burnt out.
My mental health suffered, my physical health suffered my relationship with myself suffered because I wasn’t honoring my own needs.
I wasn’t giving myself time to breathe between the tasks.
I was holding my breath waiting for it to get better and when it didn’t I was forced to make a change.
Which I did and it’s made me a better business owner because of it.
